Enable The SSH Server

The SSH server is disabled by default in Bitnami virtual machines. However, some applications (like GitLab) require SSH access to import code repositories.系统默认关闭虚拟机的ssh，但是有些服务又必须通过SSH进入系统去修改代码的源（比如Gitlab)

To enable the SSH server, execute the commands below at the server console 在服务器界面执行如下指令来开启SSH:

IMPORTANT: Before enabling the SSH server, change the default password for security.（出于安全考虑请在操作前请修改系统默认密码）

Debian

sudo rm -f /etc/ssh/sshd_not_to_be_run
sudo systemctl enable ssh
sudo systemctl start ssh

Ubuntu

sudo mv /etc/init/ssh.conf.back /etc/init/ssh.conf
sudo start ssh

Disable The SSH Server 如何关闭SSH

The SSH server is disabled by default in the Bitnami virtual machines. If you have enabled it as described here, you can disable it following the opposite steps:

Debian

sudo systemctl stop ssh
sudo systemctl disable ssh

Ubuntu

sudo stop ssh
sudo mv /etc/init/ssh.conf /etc/init/ssh.conf.back
